AboutFounded 2018Miami, FL

Built by operators. Run by operators. For operators.

Elite Funders is a small business funding marketplace and editorial publisher. Three co-founders, one Miami office, a 70+ lender network, and one shared belief: the operators running real businesses deserve the same access to capital as the corporations they compete with.

The American small business funding industry is structurally unfair, and the people who pay the cost are the ones least equipped to push back: the family-owned restaurant in Tampa, the trucking outfit in Houston, the dental practice in Phoenix that needs a hundred thousand dollars to expand and gets routed through five intermediaries before anyone tells them what their actual rate will be.

Banks decline 80% of small business loan applications. The remaining 20% wait six to twelve weeks for an answer that's often still no. So an entire shadow market emerged to serve everyone the banks turned away — merchant cash advances, alternative term loans, equipment financing, factoring lines — and that shadow market, helpful as it is, made transparency a casualty of speed. Operators get capital fast. They also get pricing they don't fully understand, contracts they can't reasonably read, and brokers whose only loyalty is to whichever lender writes the biggest commission this month.

We started Elite Funders to do this differently. A small team of operators in Miami, building a brokerage where the editorial standards match the operational standards: real research, transparent pricing, methodology you can audit, and a 70+ lender network we can actually be honest about. The idea isn't to be the cheapest source of capital. It's to be the source you trust.

What we do

Marketplace. Brokerage. Publisher.

Elite Funders operates as a finance broker — not a direct lender. When a business applies through us, we submit the file across our lender partner network, surface offers from the lenders most likely to fund the deal at the best terms, and help the operator compare real numbers against real numbers. We earn commissions from the lenders when deals close. We do not sell merchant data.

Alongside the brokerage, we publish editorial coverage of the small business funding category — our lender directory, our MCA pillar guide, our comparison reviews, our glossary, our methodology. The goal is straightforward: be the source operators consult before they apply anywhere, including with us. Even readers who don't apply benefit from the work, because honest editorial coverage of this category was missing, and we built the version we'd want if we were the one looking for capital.

Three things we won't do

We won't quote a rate we can't deliver on. If a lender we've assessed publishes a 1.30 factor rate range and the offer that comes back is 1.42, we tell you why. If we can't honestly route you to better terms, we say so before you sign.

We won't recommend a lender we wouldn't recommend to family. Our scoring methodology rates Confession of Judgment usage, contract readability, and reconciliation behavior — not just rates. Lenders that score below 7.0 on our scale aren't in our active placement rotation regardless of how much commission they offer.

We won't shop your file across the market without your consent. Some shops submit a single application to twenty lenders simultaneously to find any approval. That maximizes commission and damages your file. We submit selectively, with your awareness, to the lenders that fit your profile.
